Jessica Zizumbo-Pratt
I have the pleasure of being Practice Manager at CKVC. The thing I love most about my job is all the kisses I get from the patients and the joy of meeting pet owners every day. At home, I have my husband, Jay, my daughter Jordan and my two furry kids Benny, a Basset Hound and Lily, a Mini Dachshund with whom I share all the neat things I see every day.

Janessa Dickson
I have worked at CKVC as a veterinary technician since the clinic opened the doors in November 2001. I love to be challenged in any way, and I am also competitive and love to win. I have a wonderful, tolerant husband, Chris, two adorable sons, Kylan and Landyn, who keep me on my toes 24/7. Finally, I have four furry children Russia, Zoe and Tigger and Gracie.

Carie MacArthur
I have been with CKVC since May of 2003. Before working at the clinic, I experienced different career opportunities, from being a nanny on the east coast, to being a 911 emergency dispatcher. I adopted two great feline friends, Mango and Mystic, from the clinic. I also recently adopted another kitten, Tiger Lily. I keep busy with Buck, my Labrador Retriever and Eva the Siberian Huskey, taking the pair for walks and letting them play in the water.

Debbie Ford
A Hutchinson native, I have been with CKVC since April of 2004 as an technician. I'm a single parent of an Amazon parrot named Pepe and an 10-year-old Dachshund named Braut. I enjoy working with all kinds of animals and their owners. In 2005 I received certification in canine massage from integrated Touch Therapy. My hobbies include horseback riding and cross-stitching.

Amanda Hackerott
I have been a receptionist at CKVC since March 2005. I consider myself extremely blessed to not only get to work with animals but to gain knowledge of veterinary medicine as well. I enjoy the service aspect of my job because I get to see all the pets come through the door. I also enjoy working with the hospitalized patients. I have three dogs at home; Kenny, a terrier, who loves his brother Buckie, another terrier I foster for Bless the Beast. Last but not least is Courage the Chihuahua with a classic bad attitude.

Justin Mings
I began working at Central Kansas Veterinary Center in March of 2007. I am currently getting my prerequisites for K-State Vet School out of the way at Wichita State University. In my spare time I am also the Volunteer Coordinator for the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, Chairperson for the Salty Dawg Festival events committee and an active member of Cause for Paws. My lovely wife Amber and I have several pets: 3 American Pit Bull Terriers - Zoot Suit Riot, Ramona, and a boy named Sue;a Pomeranian named Audrey, a Chihuahua named Pedro, and two Sphynx cats - Squifford and Smerley.

Oaknim Lamagna
I have been with CKVC since December of 2007. I feel that this is the most fulfilling job I have ever had. I truly enjoy meeting our clients and their pets. Besides my passion for all creatures great and small, I love music, art, gardening, the outdoors and writing. I also like to educate my co-workers on the perks of being a vegan by forcing them to eat soy ice cream. My animal family includes two human children, several dogs and cats, and a horse who only loves me when I have food.

Lori Sikes
I grew up on a farm and have always loved animals so I decided to become an animal health professional. In May 2001 I graduated from Colby Community College with a Veterinary Technology degree. I have worked in several clinics including both large and small animals before coming to CKVC in May 2008. Even though I have lots of previous experience I am still learning new things everyday. My favorite part of the job is the love and happiness the animals and their owners share. I have 3 "kids" of my own, Annie Marie and Oscar Dean are both cats and Bo is a Beagle/Basset hound mix.

Kelsi Hedger
Originally from Russell, Kansas I have lived in Hutchinson for almost 4 years. I worked in banking for 6 years before taking a giant leap into the Veterinary field. I've been with CKVC since August of 2008 as a receptionist. I have great interest in animal behavior and training and am excited at the opportunities this job will offer me. At home I have my husband, Joe, and our 2 spoiled Boxers, Bianca and Vegas.

Ali McDonald
My love for animals and desire to become a veterinarian brought me to CKVC in April 2008. The very first month I had the pleasure of taking are of the cutest dachshund in the world, Peanut Butter. Who knew that a month later she would be "mine" and her name would now be Chamois! (Have you ever had the pleasure of snuggling a soaking wet dachshund? - Yeah it feels just like a wet chamois). I love her; and I love this job.
