I have been with CKVC since May of 2003. Before working at the clinic, I experienced different career opportunities, from being a nanny on the east coast, to being a 911 emergency dispatcher. I adopted two great feline friends, Mango and Mystic, from the clinic. I also recently adopted another kitten, Tiger Lily. I keep busy with Buck, my Labrador Retriever and Eva the Siberian Huskey, taking the pair for walks and letting them play in the water.

I have been with CKVC since December of 2007. I feel that this is the most fulfilling job I have ever had. I truly enjoy meeting our clients and their pets. Besides my passion for all creatures great and small, I love music, art, gardening, the outdoors and writing. I also like to educate my co-workers on the perks of being a vegan by forcing them to eat soy ice cream. My animal family includes two human children, several dogs and cats, and a horse who only loves me when I have food.

I grew up on a farm and have always loved animals so I decided to become an animal health professional. In May 2001 I graduated from Colby Community College with a Veterinary Technology degree. I have worked in several clinics including both large and small animals before coming to CKVC in May 2008. Even though I have lots of previous experience I am still learning new things everyday. My favorite part of the job is the love and happiness the animals and their owners share. I have 3 "kids" of my own, Annie Marie and Oscar Dean are both cats and Bo is a Beagle/Basset hound mix.

I am a new receptionist here at CKVC. I recently transferred here from a vet clinic in Wichita where I worked for a year and a half. I love working with animals and I am very excited to work at such a great place and get to know all of our patients and their families! My special someone, Brandon and I, just moved into our new house where we live with our three wild boys. We have a rat terrier named Max and two terrier/corgi mixes, Ferguson and Charlie. They love spending their days chewing bones and keeping us on our toes!

I have had the opportunity to be a part of the CKVC family since November 2009. My world has been brightened even more from all the wonderful pets and families that I have met. In addition to this blessing I have 7 blessings of my own at home. Aurora, Gunner and Jacob are my incredible children, along with Marty, Juniper and Motley who are my "furry children". They all do a great job keeping me busy and teach me something new every day!

Looking for a change in scenery and to expand my horizons, I moved from Phoenix, AZ to Hutchinson in January of 2009. It took me a little while to get used to the cold weather but I found what I was looking for and was offered the opportunity to be a technician at CKVC. It is so rewarding to provide care to each unique pet and get to know people who love animals as much as I do. When not at work I love to spend the nice days outside with my fiance, his 3 children and my baby - Wheatie, a 13 year old Chihuahua.
